Are you a skilled communicator passionate about driving engagement and enhancing corporate identity? Join Air Products as a Corporate Communications Specialist, a pivotal role supporting our core industrial gases business in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications (Europe & Africa), you’ll collaborate with local leadership, HR, and marketing teams to create and deliver impactful communications that fuel our growth and employee engagement within the Northern Continent sub-region.
In this role, you’ll also work closely with the Senior Corporate Communications Specialist for hydrogen growth, as well as teams across other EU regions and global communications to align our messaging and strengthen our corporate presence.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Develop and Deliver Inspiring Communications**
Plan and execute integrated communications for internal stakeholders, using both existing and new channels to strengthen company culture and drive employee engagement and retention.
- ** Track and Measure Success**
Identify and monitor key metrics to evaluate communication impact, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- ** Enhance Brand Reputation**
Promote the Air Products brand to create positive market differentiation and support customer engagement, growth initiatives, and talent attraction.
- ** Manage Media Relations Strategy**
Develop and manage proactive media relations for our core business in Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands to raise our industry profile.
- ** Protect Company Reputation**
Collaborate closely with business leaders and the Director of Corporate Communications to manage daily issues and crises, playing a vital role in crisis preparedness and media training across Europe.
- ** Support Corporate Initiatives**
Contribute to daily operational needs and larger departmental initiatives, taking ownership of dynamic projects as they arise.
**Your Profile**:
You’ll bring a solid background in PR, communications, journalism, or a related field, with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience (B2B experience is a plus). You are fluent in English, with proficiency in French or German, and excel at engaging diverse teams across cultures and regions. You’ll also have:
- ** Experience in Internal Communications**
Skilled in a range of communication channels and adept at designing and executing plans for maximum engagement across multi-team and remote workforces.
- ** Excellent Writing and Messaging Skills**
Ability to create clear, targeted messaging tailored to diverse audiences.
- ** Strong Project and Stakeholder Management**
Proven success in prioritizing and managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively, with a high attention to detail and organizational skills.
- ** Action-Oriented Approach**
A proactive, high-energy attitude, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, manage urgency, and maintain high standards.
- ** Collaborative, Team-Centric Mindset**
Able to work seamlessly across regions, facilitating discussions and reaching consensus on communication goals and outcomes.
