Senior Vat Consultant

As a senior VAT consultant, you will advise and assist large and middle large companies on local and international VAT matters. You will be recurring VAT compliance services and predominantly provide VAT advise to Public Interest Entities (PIE) and Large Entities.
You may from time to time assist clients with VAT inspections and advice on cross-border VAT cases. As VAT advisor, you will also be actively involved in M&A assignments for which VAT is part of the scope.
As a member of our growing VAT team, you will act as trusted intermediary between our clients and other Forvis Mazars colleagues.
**About you**:
- A master of bachelor degree in law or in economics with a post-graduate qualification in tax law;
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch, English (and French);
- A 3 to 5 year work experience in a tax advisory firm or with the Belgian VAT authorities;
- Entrepreneurial mindset and selling skills as a valuable asset allowing you to develop relationships both internally and externally with your clients;
- You are highly motivated, you have excellent communication skills and you are looking for opportunities to exceed expectations and take ownership of projects;
- You have an open and creative mind and you are keen to work and take the lead of your cross line of service client team.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Affinity with PowerBI is a plus.
