About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience who thrives at the intersection of LLMs, traditional ML, and scalable system design. This role spans the full ML lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on production readiness, APIs, and cloud deployment. You'll collaborate closely with AI engineers, product managers, and domain experts to build intelligent systems that deliver next-generation insights for the pharma industry.
What You'll Do
✨ Design and develop NLP & Generative AI solutions using modern LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI) and model provider APIs Build and fine-tune traditional ML models (classification, regression, clustering)
- ️ Create scalable AI pipelines and production-ready APIs using Python & FastAPI
- ️ Deploy and manage models on AWS (ECS, Lambda, S3) with a focus on CI/CD, observability, and cost efficiency Tackle complex, ambiguous problems with critical thinking and data-driven solutions Experiment creatively with new tools, techniques, and approaches in ML & AI Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust AI solutions Contribute to a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and innovation Who You Are 5+ years of industry experience in Data Science or Machine Learning Strong background in NLP, LLMs, and Generative AI (theory + hands-on) Experience with modern LLM stacks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar) Solid foundation in traditional ML (scikit-learn, XGBoost, etc.) Expert-level Python developer—clean, testable, production-quality code Experience serving models via FastAPI (or similar frameworks) Strong knowledge of AWS, especially ECS, Lambda, and S3 ➕ Bonus: MLOps/DevOps experience (Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from concept to deployment Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote-first environment Interested or know someone who'd be a great fit?
