**The company**
Our client, Henchman, developed AI driven, legal tech software. This innovative tool uses NLP technology to extract relevant clauses in documents, which can be used by law firms or legal departments to draft their contracts.With this, they grew to a team of +15 employees and raised 1 million euro in investments last year. A small team with big ambitions looking for an experienced backend developer to join.
This is pioneering in legal tech, so that’s where you come in

**The role**
As their Senior Backend developer, you’ll be in charge of developing new features and implementing them with Node.js. But that’s not all You’ll also be responsible for setting up the automated testing platforms and will have a large impact on the architecture. Next to that you’ll work on projects related to security and scalability.
Often, you will have to interface with members of the product team & development team. Your attitude to be result driven, your major share to the team efforts and the focus on the quality of the product is crucial.
In fact, they are very serious about their commitment, but they don’t take themselves too seriously.

**Requirements**:

- Preferably 4-5 years experience in Backend development
- They work with Javascript/Typescript, so naturally you have experience with the JS stack
- Node.js is your go to language, preferably with Express.js as framework
- You have a firm knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker and Bash
- A good understanding of asynchronous programming
