The BASF Belgium Coordination Center ensures the development, coordination and/or centralization of various BASF activities in Belgium. The Coordination Center includes the sales organization of BASF products in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, as well as the corporate functions of BASF's global Performance Materials and Monomers division. **RESPONSIBILITIES** This is your task package: - You will collaborate closely with the global sustainability team to develop and implement the sustainability communication plan to strengthen Performance Material's positioning in circularity and carbon management. - You will work with global & regional industry communicators to identify strong proof points and drive integrated, consistent, and high-impact campaigns to engage and excite customers and other stakeholders. - Furthermore, you will engage internal stakeholders in various formats through connecting sustainability experts with employees to share knowledge, create transparency and inspirations. - Driving modern and impactful media activities (e.g. press conferences, media interviews, press releases, press kits) in collaboration with the regions and industries belongs to your responsibilities. - You will monitor media impact and share best practices. - You will strengthen thought leadership program and speaking opportunities. - Additionally, you will support crisis communications in Performance Materials and manage interfaces with the business and corporate communications team. - You are responsible for providing Performance Materials input to support BASF reports and the shareholders' meeting. - You will cooperate closely with different stakeholders as well as the BASF group Media Relations and the crisis communication department. **QUALIFICATIONS** - You have a University degree in communications or journalism or marketing. - Solid inhouse or agency experience in sustainability communication, media relations, marketing communications is a must-have. - You have excellent strategic thinking and conceptual abilities. - You have a strong ability to bring communication concepts to impactful implementation. - Excellent writing skills, in journalistic writing style and creative writing style are essential. - You have high proficiency in English.
