About the role

**What you need to know**:
**The role will predominantly involve**: Study, analyse, manage and quote general ledger major and middle market business in accordance with the AIG guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes and tools:

- Manage, analyse and defend an existant portfolio of business
- Build up a profitable book of new business
- Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business
- Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions
- Participate in client/broker meetings
- Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims
- Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers
- Give presentations, trainings and take care of internal and external networking
- Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives

**What we’re looking for**:

- Relevant experience in the insurance environment
- Dutch, English and French language capabilities
- Commercial and analytical skills
- Structured, organized, open-minded, flexible, good communication skills, not afraid of hard work
- Team player
- Good communication & presentation skills
