We are looking for a Data Architect to join our IT team at EQUANS ( department Architecture & Development ). The Data Architect will be responsible for the definition and implementation of an information and data management governance framework within EQUANS. He/She will contribute to the digital transformation of the EQUANS business towards a data-driven company by defining a data-centered architecture.

Your mission

you contribute to the long-term IT roadmap and transformation program of EQUANS regular interaction and effective collaboration in
- and outside of the architecture team, involvement in the Solution Architecture Design process for solutions and services as part of the enterprise solution portfolio

you are able to implement a data governance policy and you can guide the customer through the necessary changes of becoming a data driven organization

you contribute to the data governance framework and the implementation of the data office

you work closely with process and business teams and identify a common data model

you are familiar with cloud and big data technologies and are able to guide the teams with different system architecture patterns depending on the different use cases

you are able to build data pipelines and have knowledge of the required programming languages

you define and maintain the Enterprise Logical Data Model

you actively contribute to the Solution Architecture Blueprint and document solutions

you are familiar with software development practices and CI/CD deployments

You will report to the Head of Architecture & Development.

**Profile**:
you have at least a university degree or an equivalent experience, in business administration, marketing or information technologies

you have at least 8+ years of experience of implementing Information Systems to support the Data & Analytics domain

you have a hands-on experience with the Data & Analytics information systems, both from a functional point of view (ETL, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Visualization, Data Analytics, Data Quality & Governance, ) and technical (Deployment Cloud, security, ), ideally acquired on SAP BI and on MS Azure

you are familiar with the enterprise architecture discipline and have experience with modelling AS-IS and TO-BE enterprise architectures and with defining roadmap

you have a point of view on the latest concepts, trends and future evolutions related to the Data & Analytics domain (data hub, data streaming, )

you have an analytical mind, able to conceptualize solutions

you are strong in planning and organizing, facilitating and negotiating with excellent written and verbal communication skills

creative, motivated, result-oriented, pragmatic, adaptive to changes, flexible personality

fluent in English, Dutch and French are a definitive plus
