**Tasks and Qualifications**:
The key to our success is largely dependent on the stellar ability of our Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). The IPTs develop the software and hardware products that are deployed and serviced by the Still, Linde, and Dematic brands of AGVs. The products delivered by the IPTs are a critical part of positioning KION as the global leader in mobile robotics.
Each IPT is led by a team leader. When a product/module is complex enough to require technical leadership as well as additional schedule and budget control, we add an automation lead to the team. This position is called PLA.
This position is in the Solution Management division and reports to the Director of Solution Management.
- Oversee multiple project and program leads daily activities
- Manage combined budgets for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Manage proactively the RSD projects to identify and mitigate risks in an early stage to avoid delays and budget increase.
- Serve as a key liaison role with internal stakeholders
- Develop and implement reporting that indicates the status of all product development and interrelationships among them.
- Strategize, implement, and maintain PLA initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance
- Develop and refine project management best practices within the PLA Team
- Foster a team environment that promotes continuous improvement and efficiency
**Experience/Degree Required**:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, electrical engineering, or another related field
- 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with project/program management experience)
- Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
- Understanding of Lean Management and practical Lean implementation
**Preferred Experience**:
- Master’s degree in business administration, engineering or another related field
- Previous stakeholder management
- PMI, IPMA or other Project Management certification
- Experience in project management of robotic systems
