MISSION:_**

Here, in Nívelles (Belgium), as (Snr) Laboratory Technician active within our RNA Researsh, you will join a collaborative team full of passionate change-makers and be a key contributor to the successful innovation of RNA molecular design and production processes. In collaboration with scientists, you will contribute to design of high-performance RNA and to development of manufacturing processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:_**

**Lab Operations**
- Management of work area, equipment, materials, and consumables,
- Coordination of routine lab activities and general management of the lab with peers (operational work, monitoring of consumables and reagents, maintenance of a clean and safe working area),
- Writing of experimental documentation,
- Preparation and execution of operations with complete traceability:
- Preparation of reagent mixes,
- Preparation and execution of enzymatic reactions (work with micro volumes),
- Quantification and characterization of nucleic acids and proteins,
- Execution of experiments following defined conditions.

**Reporting**
- Writing and management of documentation related to experiments,
- Collection of data and results in defined forms with accuracy,
- Analysis of results and writing of reports.

**Quality Safety and continuous improvement**
- Adherence to internal quality system in daily work,
- Adherence to standard operating procedures in all executed operational tasks,
- Generation of process quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, templates, etc.).

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:_**
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular and/or Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences or equivalent with proven track record in Research & Development,
- Experience in
- molecular biology (work with RNA and/or DNA, enzymatic reactions, cloning, PCR, etc.),
- purification of nucleic acids,
- analytical techniques (qualification and quantification methods for nucleic acids and proteins)
- cell culture (in BSL2 lab)

is a significant plus,
- Autonomy in both routine and project related lab activities and capability of troubleshooting,
- Integrity and transparency,
- Strong sense of observation, inventive & critical mindset, scientific curiosity, and problem-solving skills,
- Proactivity, flexibility, work organizational skills,
- Enthusiasm and agility to work on a variety of projects and adaptability to a changing and multi-tasked environment,
- Capability to work in a cross-functional and multi-cultural team,
- Fluency in French, good understanding of English.
