Our client is a main provider of software developing services in the transport industry, based in Brussels with **offices close to a main railway station.**

**Functieomschrijving**:
You will be **responsible for the Team Solution Design and Analysis**. You will be both a **substantive coach and a people manager for your team**. You will maintain **good relationships with your business stakeholders**, with **focus on awareness of the business priorities**.

**You will guide the Solution Designers and Analysts in their day-to-day activities**:

- You will challenge and guide the stakeholders in validating and prioritizing their needs and solving any bottlenecks;
- You will convert the validated and prioritized needs and problems into standard functionality, or to functional specifications for a custom solution in a detailed functional analysis document;
- You will analyze, draw and document processes and information flows to create, buy or reuse solutions, aligned with the strategy and with the expectations of the business;
- You will ensure consistency with existing business and solution architecture, and you will seek advice from the system-, enterprise-, and solution architects;
- You will report on the progress of the analyses, processes and the proposed solution and ensure formal validation of this solution;
- You will proactively identify bottlenecks and possibly propose solutions and or alternatives;
- You will proposing final products on the internal and external customer.

- You will ensure a clear division of roles within the team and you will delegate tasks to the right person;
- In collaboration and coordination with HR, you will guide individual team members in their personal development;
- You will be responsible for drawing up and optimizing the skill matrix for all team members;
- You will act as a hiring manager for the recruitment of new team members;
- You will advise management on the qualitative and quantitative occupation of your team within the proposed budget;
- You will manage attendance and absences and the necessary backups within your team.

**As a Solution Delivery Lead you will maintain a good relationship with the business stakeholders**:

- You will consult regularly with business stakeholders to evaluate the collaboration and you will identify areas for improvement;
- You will discuss the priorities and status of analysis and solution design deliverables in the context of specific projects and initiatives with the business stakeholders.

**Vereiste ervaring**:

- You have a **Master’s Degree in IT or Economics o**r you are equivalent through relevant professional experience;
- You have **at least 10 years of relevant professional experience within an IT/delivery environment**;
- You have a thorough knowledge of and experience with Project Management and IT processes;
- You have at least some relevant experience in managing a team of IT-ers, having experience in managing offshore teams is a plus;
- You’re strong in stakeholder management;
- You have excellent communication skills, and you have a constructive, proactive and pragmatic approach;
- You can work under pressure in a multi-focus environment;
- You’re **fluent in Dutch, French and English.**
