Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Scientist in Mass Spectrometry and Biophysics to support and drive biophysical assays in the area of small molecule
- protein interactions and biomolecule characterization.

Key Responsibilities
Scientific & Technical
- Design, execute, and interpret experiments using mass spectrometry-based techniques (e.g. LC-MS, MALDI-MS, HRMS) using Q exactive plus from ThermoFisher and TIMS TOF device from Bruker under the guidance of expert scientists
- Develop and optimize experimental workflows for challenging biological systems (protein complexes, biologics, PTMs)
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets, integrating results across multiple biophysical and analytical readouts
- Contribute to mechanistic understanding of structure-function relationships Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams across discovery, development, and analytics
- Present scientific results at internal meetings
- Author or contribute to technical reports, study documentation Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement new methodologies in mass spectrometry and biophysics
- Contribute to laboratory best practices, assay robustness, and data quality standards
- Stay current with scientific advances and emerging tools in the field Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Structural Biology, or MSc with relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with mass spectrometry applied to small molecules
- Solid understanding of biophysical principles governing protein-protein or protein-small molecule interactions
- Proven ability to independently design, troubleshoot, and interpret complex experiments
- Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven environment is a plus
- Proficiency in scientific data analysis and reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with separation techniques (e.g. chromatography-based methods such as SEC, IEX, RP HPLC, or related approaches)
- Hands-on experience with SPR (Surface Plasmon Resonance)
- Strong background in protein biochemistry, including biochemical characterization of proteins and complexes
- Experience with laboratory automation, including automated sample preparation, liquid handling systems, or integration of analytical workflows is a strong plus
- Publication record in peer reviewed journals
- Experience in cross functional or matrix based organizations Personal Attributes
