Position Title: Head of Infrastructure, IT & Cloud Services Location: Brussels, Belgium Length of position: Permanent State date: ASAP Fringe benefits provided: Relocation expense, Temporary housing & Company car Languages: English - mandatory, French/German a plus **Salary**: 200k-350k Euro's Reports to: CIO Direct Reports: about 5 Number of FTE's responsible for: about 300 **OVERALL OBJECTIVES**: The Head of Infrastructure, IT & Cloud Services is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, management, and operation of the organization's IT infrastructure (including the Legacy infrastructure) and cloud services. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals to ensure the stability, scalability and efficiency of the organization's technology infrastructure, including on-premises, private cloud and public cloud-based systems in a decentralized organization. **SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS**: **Key Responsibilities**: - Infrastructure Legacy management: - Manage the Legacy infrastructure teams (approx. 150-200 FTE in Solid line reporting) in charge to operate the world wide Legacy infrastructure that is being segregated (carved out - "regionalization approach") into independent IT Support teams (ITISC) and IT zones. - Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure systems to meet business needs and service level agreements. - IT Service Management - Lead the team (35+ FTE solid line reporting) in charge of: - Managing and deploying further the Eurofins IT Service Portal (ServiceNow) and ensuring effective IT Service Management built on best practice policies & procedures across all IT Zones. - Proving reporting on IT Security, IT Compliance and IT Operations to enable IT Crews to deliver effective, robust IT Services securely to their internal customers. - Increasing IT Service quality and customer satisfaction through driving Continuous Service Improvement initiatives across the ITISC and Legacy teams. - Collaborate strongly with Security to resolve, mitigate and prevent Security incidents. - Technology Management: - Lead the IT Technology Council that is supervising the validation process of Technologies - Collaborate with ITISC and IT Solutions programs to align on IT Infrastructure and Cloud needs and Technologies. - Collaborate with Infrastructure and Cloud technology vendors and partners to assess capabilities and leverage external expertise as needed - Evaluate, negotiate Cloud contracts in collaboration with Procurement, and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost, performance, and security (in collaboration with IT security team). - Cloud (Including IaC (Infrastructure as a Code)) Services Management: - Manage the Our Client's cloud strategy, govern and orchestrate the cloud architecture and the utilization of Cloud components (Oversee globally defined IT Cloud policies, standards and procedures applicable to ITISC and IT Solutions architecture, disaster recovery, standards, procurement, and service provisioning); - Lead the Cloud and IaC Architectural Roadmap (standards definitions and technology definition) to allow ITISC and IT Solutions team to deliver the appropriate IT Service to their respective businesses at and affordable cost - IT Segregation: - Support the finalization of the IT Segregation into IT Zones together with the ITISC and IT Solutions teams, and lead the decommissioning of the Legacy. **Cost and Budget Management** - Lead cost optimization within Legacy and Cloud environments. - Design and implement business case driven rationalizations and cost/benefit analyses for IT investments and initiatives creating/modifying global standards fitting cost appetite of our various businesses - Provide greater insight and clarity into the annual budgets of various Cloud consumers and provide analysis of savings opportunities. **Qualifications** - Experience in developing and executing long-term IT infrastructure and cloud strategies, with proven ability to create and improve new and existing IT Infrastructure and Cloud processes to drive efficiency, quality, and cost effective solutions.
