This position reports to the Cellular Workflow Business Development Manager and is part of the Cellular Workflow Automation team, working remotely to cover Europe.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

- Provide high quality pre
- and post-sales support to customers.
- Perform product demonstrations and support product evaluations, both in-house and at customer sites.
- Provide in-depth training on our instruments, assays and automation solutions at customer facilities.
- Conduct technical presentations and seminars at customer sites, trade shows and workshops. Network with opinion leaders to drive adoption of Molecular Devices technologies.
- Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Service and R&D to increase Molecular Devices’ sales, provide high quality customer care and provide feedback from the field to contribute to the continuous improvement of existing product lines and to the development of future products.

The essential requirements of the role include:

- Bachelor’s degree in life science with 5+ years related work experience OR Master’s degree in life science with 3+ years related work experience OR Doctoral degree, ideally with experience in **culturing mammalian and microbial cells**. Must be able to demonstrate strong scientific knowledge and technical ability.
- Excellent time/project management and independent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and independent with the ability to manage assigned territory to include travel and scheduling.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs and familiar with image and data analysis software.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

- ** Ability to speak French and/or Italian fluently.**
- Demonstrated experience with lab automation and advanced scientific equipment.
- Experience in culturing 3D cell models.

Travel & Motor Vehicle Record Requirements:

- ** This position requires up to 50% travel across Europe**, which includes overnight stays. Travel will primarily be within territory, but some international travel may also occur.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
