Raw Material, Purchasing Team

To be part of the overall European Purchasing team of nearly 200 people, the Raw

Material group is focused on serving all European manufacturing locations.

The Raw Material Purchasing Team have a variety of hot topics for current and future

vehicles. We deal with dynamic requests on sourcing and new development.

As an intern in our group, we will be looking for you to integrate quickly. You will

have the opportunity to be part of a team that develops the strategy of raw material

purchasing.

**Your project**

As intern you will be expected to:

- Undertake projects to support the group. (i.e., Systems or procedure
development, data organization, support communication with suppliers.)
- Support buyers, engineers and admin with actual key Purchasing
activities. (i.e., Sourcing, pricing, negotiations)
- Communicate with related internal and external supplier contacts via
Powerpoint etc)

You will gain:

- Insight into Toyota as a company.
- Appreciation for Toyota Purchasing approach and relationship with suppliers.
- Use of your skills to contribute to real business activity and gain appreciation
for Toyota business approach.

Your Profile:

- You are fluent in English (TME’s business language)
- Either have or are studying for a university degree in the area of Business,
Purchasing or Engineering.
- Have a business understanding and affinity with automotive products.
- Are results driven and able to break down complex issues into manageable
portions.
- Have good communication, presentation and teamwork skills.
- Are computer literate (MS Applications)
- It would be a good advantage if you have some understanding of carbon
neutrality regulation and LCA guidelines in EU.
