- including professional advice. Interested in joining the team at Verhelst Machines? JOB OMSCHRIJVING: As a Service Technician
- Generators, you are responsible for the repair and maintenance of our rental fleet of generators, both in our workshop in Ostend and at customer sites across Belgium. Curious about your responsibilities?
- You receive an overview of planned maintenance tasks (oil changes, filter replacements, electrical checks)
- You ensure our generators are in top technical condition and ready for deployment
- You plan your own route and organize your day in the most efficient way
- You handle urgent breakdowns and interventions — faulty starter? Control system issue? You solve it
- You work independently, with support from our planners and warehouse team
- At the end of the day, you keep your administration up to date In short: a technical role with responsibility, variety, and autonomy.

JOUW PROFIEL
:
- You have experience with maintenance and repairs on generators (or similar engines/electrical installations)
- You have a solid knowledge of electricity and engine control systems
- You can independently analyze and solve technical issues
- You speak and understand English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- You are customer-oriented, flexible, and stress-resistant
- Working safely according to VCA principles comes naturally to you
