**Today we have an amazing opportunity for a DIRECTOR of Simcenter Development C2ST**:
The mission of the Simcenter Development (SCDEV) team is to maximize the productivity and efficiency of all STS Product Development teams, to ultimately increase the customer value of the Simcenter portfolio.

To realize this mission, SCDEV operates in 4 teams, called Horizontal Products, Common Components-Services-Technologies (C2ST), Operations and Security.

The Director of Simcenter Development C2ST will be in charge of the Common Components, Services and Technologies (C2ST) team. The main objective of the C2ST team is to rationalize software and technologies across the Simcenter portfolio and to foster re-use of components and technologies. For this, we are focusing on strategic components/technologies used across multiple Solution Domains. Next, the team also is responsible for defining and coordinating a Simcenter-wide strategy for migration of our portfolio to cloud native SaaS products (see Simcenter X). Next, C2ST is leading the Simulation & Test Solutions (STS) strategy for the Xcelerator Star Trek initiative, which a/o assumes responsibility for developing an Ontology service. Finally, C2ST also is in charge of license and installer harmonization.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. End responsibility for the management and coordination of all SCDEV C2ST product development teams. This includes amongst other responsibility for the Simcenter Cloud HPC team, which is the team in charge of developing the first ever Simcenter cloud native (SaaS) product. This provides exciting opportunities to be at the forefront of exploring new cloud technologies, as well as cloud governance processes (e.g., providing 24x7 support for Cloud SLAs), aligned with the STS and DISW cloud strategies. Activities within the SCDEV product development teams are executed in line with the STS Product Creation Process (Q Gates).

2. Manage and coordinate Core Improvement Programs related to product development efficiency and effectiveness. This includes a/o the roll-out of an Agile Transformation program across the entire Simcenter organisation. In addition: further improvements to the Cloud HPC development process (agile estimations accurracy, execution against burndown charts,...)

3. Maintain excellent team management relationships with direct reports and further develop their maturity and skills. Foster inter-team collaboration between Simcenter Product Development and Simcenter Product Management, but also with peers and colleagues in the STS Solution Domains

4. Effective management of the C2ST budgets, contractual agreements, etc.

1.1 Deliver outstanding products/components/services on time, on quality and on contents. Next to responsibilities for Simcenter Cloud HPC and core components, the team also is in charge of the Xcelerator Star Trek Onotology initiative, which includes the development of an Ontology Service to be consumed by other DI SW segments.

1.2 You’re a permanent member of the Simcenter X Steering Committee, which is in charge of defining and monitoring the execution plan for the cloud native STS Simcenter X initiative.

1.3 Be the STS interface towards DI SW on the SaaS ecosystem (Xcelerator Cloud Runtime - aka Chimera, WebComponents,...). Be responsible for the internal release governance of common components

1.4 Contribute to the definition and sharing of the C2ST strategy and vision (e.g., M100 roadmaps) with all of the SCDEV and Solution Domains teams

1.5 Actively contribute to the 3YR Roadmap preparation (M100) and to the release planning iterations (M200)

2.1 Continuously look for improvements to be realized within your own teams (e.g., Cloud HPC). Actively follow-up on such improvements with clear milestones, deliverables and metrics
