**Position Summary**
Attached to the Operations Manager, you have responsibility for the management of the European DC for the LPCE Division to achieve Operational Excellence (safety, quality, on-time delivery and productivity). In accordance with the Division Management Team, develop a world class operation through the use of continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness of the work environment, to ensure the security of operations;
- Provide leadership by promoting team concepts, HPTs, Lean, coaching, mentoring, training, talent management and individual development through the use of Talent Central Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, to ensure the timely preparation and shipping of customers’ orders;
- Manage teams of employees and Team Leaders and ensure accountability for all aspects of the location KPIs.
- Manage distribution issues with European distribution hauliers, and deal with Division Customers Support Office (DSO) and Division Supply Chain, to assure premier Customer Service.
- Actively contribute to the management and implementation of projects to assure the continuous improvement of the operation.
- Be one of the key users of the WMS (Logistics Manager Suite), suggest/elaborate enhancements, elaborate technical & functional specifications and act as a facilitator with the supplier.

- Proven leadership skills with a strong knowledge of business and operations processes;
- Knowledge of Lean methodology: 5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping;
- Ability to organise and manage multiple priorities using effective problem-solving skills and a team focus;
- Pragmatic & hands-on mentality; willing to participate on the shopfloor in order to manage projects and daily business.
- Analytical and result driven (converting plans to results);
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills for effective strong interface with all internal and external contacts (on all levels), and strong customer mindset;
- Degree in a Technical or Logistics discipline along with a proven track record of management experience in a successful manufacturing and warehousing role.
- Experience with WMS and specifically Savoy Logistics Manager Suite (LM);
- Fluent English speaker.
