Edmac Europe is an ambitious customer-driven company, which is selling components for compressors with customers from across the world. As part of an industry leader within this market, our objective is to be the one-stop-shop for all organizations who want to procure parts, consumables or lubricants for compressors. Our customers are all small to medium sized companies, which are located in more than 60 different countries.

To further support our growth, we are currently looking for a Supply Chain Officer**.**

**Responsibilities**:
As Supply Chain officer, you have a wide variety of responsibilities:

- ** Manage our stocked items **by running on a daily basis the MRP system, follow up deliveries and actively manage the open orders to make sure our stocked items are always ready to send out to our customers. You anticipate when needed.
- ** Follow up all supplier orders, **safeguard that we get daily confirmations and follow up closely the deliveries versus the promises made by our suppliers
- ** Work closely together with the customer service **to guarantee that we deliver our customers an excellent customer service. Track down issues in the open order list, and find solutions in co-ordination with your customers.
- ** Develop our supplier network, **by making agreements with suppliers and follow up that they are also implemented as agreed
- ** Be the central contact person in case of claims & complaints. **Offer fast solutions to our customers, but also investigate the root cause of every issue reported.

As Supply Chain Officer, you will be part of the operations team - you will also be a backup in case of holidays & travelling.

As such this means that we expect from you to take ownership on:

- Making sure that on a daily basis orders are sent to our suppliers
- Process the confirmations, follow up the lacking information and contact suppliers actively where needed to get the info required
- Work closely together with the customer service, to understand where extra priority is needed. Solve issues by working actively with your supply chain. You will need to be continuously in contact with your whole supply chain to manage & solve the open order book. Within this role you are key in the service experience of our customers
- Be a teamplayer, not only within the operations team - but also with the colleagues of sales, marketing & finance

The Supply Chain Officer is reporting to the Operations Manager of Edmac Europe.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and result-driven, no-nonsense professional with a background in managing suppliers or planning materials
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar function is an advantage
- Interest & knowledge in the world of compressed air
- Knowledge of Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamic Web is an advantage
- Knowledge of English is a must
- Knowledge of German and/or French is an asset
