We are excited to be recruiting for a dedicated **Assistant Financial Controller **to join our Medgenix plant in **Wevelgem,** Belgium.

The Medgenix plant counts 140 colleagues - comprising of both white and blue collar employees. Together we mainly produce shampoos such as the Paranix anti-lice shampoo, body lotions and pharmaceutical creams of a high quality. Perrigo’s product portfolio also includes Davitamon, Dermalex, Galenco, Jungle Formula, Lactacyd, NiQuitin, XLS and Physiomer.

**Role purpose**:
As a valued member of the local financial team at our plant, you will play a vital role in providing crucial management insights to both local and group management. Your expertise in financial analysis and business acumen will serve as the foundation for strategic recommendations

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing monthly management reports and presentations.
- Actively participate in the monthly closing and forecasting processes (including P&L, Cashflow, and Inventory levels).
- Play an integral role in the budgeting process, encompassing P&L, Cashflow, Working Capital, and Capex.
- Conduct variance analysis and closely monitor key performance indicators such as production volumes, cost absorption, efficiencies, and manufacturing costs.
- Conduct profitability analyses on products, customers, and new projects.
- Maintain and update internal controls and procedures in compliance with Sox standards.
- Foster strong working relationships within the plant to enhance operational and financial reporting and communication

**We are looking for**:

- Possess a master's degree in economics or finance.
- Bring 3-5 years of relevant experience in plant controlling, with a solid grasp of management accounting and reporting.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to collaborating with various on-site departments and across the Perrigo Group.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of general accounting principles.
- Demonstrated flexibility, high efficiency, and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of SAP considered an asset.
