As a Planning Officer you will ensure that supply and production schedules are followed and respected in the short term. You ensure smooth communication with internal departments to establish and maintain schedules. You coordinate and plan the resources and materials needed to manufacture the product while respecting the quality, quantity, deadlines, yields and costs set.

Your responsibilities:
Ensure the definition of scheduling plans (short term planning);
Monitor the performance of the production workshops on a daily basis and make the necessary planning corrections;
Optimize the scheduling of internal production orders in collaboration with the technical and production departments in order to guarantee optimal use of the production tool;
Measure the rate of compliance with production schedules, analyze deviations, and ensure weekly reporting to his/her hierarchy;
Analyze and communicate requests and changes to the schedule;
Ensure the availability of documents related to planned productions;
Ensure the reservation of materials required according to the production schedule;
Update data in the ERP (planning data, stock min,) and in other management / reporting tools;
Work in close collaboration with the production supervisors;
Ensure the optimization of flows and stock levels.
Your profile:
You have a bachelor degree in a field related to supply chain or equivalent experience;
You have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position;
You have a first experience in production in an industrial environment;
You have a good level of English (B2min.);
You have a good knowledge of Excel;
You are stress resistant and able to deal with unexpected events;
You are organized and solution oriented ; You have excellent negotiation skills ;
You are able to take initiatives and decisions.
