**DESCRIPTION**

Within the Actuarial Function Department of IPA SA, we are looking our future- On an international scope comprising 12 insurance entities, the Department is in charge of developing and promoting within the IPA SA and AXA Assistance Groups all the methods in Actuarial work contributing, as a second line of defense, the establishment of a risk management system that identifies, measures, controls and mitigates the risks to which IPA SA and AXA Assistance are exposed.- Reported to the Head of Actuarial Function, your main missions will be:
- Strengthen the existing team on BAU-type work (quarterly closing, drafting of the actuarial report, Solvency II calculations, Reserving, Underwriting);
- Actively participate in the second line works for all underwriting topics (deals pricing, governance, relation with business lines and the Group);
- In general, actively participate in all Group projects presenting an actuarial part (Reserving, Solvency II, Underwriting, Data Quality).

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**Profile required**
- Higher education in actuarial science and statistics (Being a qualified actuary is a plus).
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Technical/Hard skills:
- Know actuarial techniques in non-life insurance and risk management.
- Know the professional environment of its field of activity (content of products and guarantees, subscription process...).
- English essential (read, written, spoken); Knowledge of French is a plus.
- To master the office tools and in particular Excel and Access.
- Knowledge of R language/software is a plus.
- Social/Soft skills:
- Know how to work in a team.
- To be able to express the needs of Actuarial Science to other Directorates.
- Advising both the entities IPA SA and AXA Assistance both proactively and reactively on the actuarial issues that may arise.
- Know how to communicate and argue technical information.
- Know how to anticipate technical issues and propose solutions.
- To be able to show a curious and critical spirit.
- Have a good ability to adapt.
- Have an open mind and be comfortable in a multicultural environment.
