Chip Architect Health Iot

In order to strengthen the team, we are looking for a **Chip Architect Health IoT & Hearables.**

**Responsibilities**:
As a Chip Architect Health IoT & Hearables you are responsible for:

- translate into an efficient (Analog & Digital) Chip Hardware and Embedded Software implementation.
- guide the hardware
- and embedded software engineers (in cooperation with the domain experts)
- determine the required HW/SW (and SW/SW) interface in close consultation with the respective technical leads.
- plan, follow-up and contribute to the verification and validation.
- support a structured project approach and will be part of a team.
- expand your knowledge and experience permanently, especially in audio processing.

**Profile**:
To be successful in this role you have:

- Bachelor or Master in Electronic Engineering.
- advanced level in signal processing, ao Audio and Vital Signs.
- advanced level in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- strong affinity with development of chips, for the complete life cycle ranging from design, implementation, verification, validation to productization.
- knowledge of Understanding Hardware Architectures and embedded SW development.
- interest to work with tools such as Matlab, VHDL simulator, (C) compilers, etc.

Furthermore, you have/will:

- ability to work in a team as well as independently
- excellent communication skills in English (verbal/written)
- be working in Leuven and in cooperation with NXP colleagues elsewhere.

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity as well.
