This team is organized in two sub-teams (middle office and controlling) and is supported by a transversal expert.The Middle office team is in charge of:Following and validating on a daily/weekly/monthly basis the economical P&L, including trading activitiesPreparing actuals, best estimate and budget reportingProposing enhancement of process and automation of tools related to middle office activitiesTaking part to projects related to middle office activitiesThe Controlling team is in charge of:Validating accounting resultsProviding and analyzing financial indicators such as S-P, CFFO, turnover...Interco reconciliation processUnderstanding eco-accounting bridgeRepresenting budget results in the consolidation system of the groupProposing enhancement of process and automation of tools related to controlling activitiesTaking part to projects related to controlling activitiesThe transversal expert is in charge of:Leading discussions related to complex topics, projects, new activitiesSetting up training for newcomersDefining best practicesSupporting the head of finance powerProviding back-up on the middle office or controlling teamYour MissionWe are looking for a senior middle officer to reinforce the Middle Office team. You will join a challenging and fast paced environment where you will be encouraged to propose and set-up new ways of working, enhancements of processes and automation of tools.What we are looking forHard skillsMust have: analytical and quantitative skills; good knowledge of excel; good knowledge of power bi, good knowledge of trading systems and information management, fluent in English and in French, knowledge of the energy markets and hedging instrumentsGood to have: Python, Dutch knowledgeSoft skillsMust have: Assertive, stress resistant, high level of integrity, well organized, pro-active, able to perform during specific reporting cycles with tight deadline, eager to learn, team player,..Education & ExperienceDegree in applied economics or finance or equivalentminimum 7 years experience is requiredLanguagesFluent in English and French.
