Responsibilities: Control the winch to lift, lower and position loads such as equipment or materials. Ensure precise and safe movement of loads during operations. Regularly inspect winches, cables, and related equipment for wear and tear or defects. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors. Ensure that loads are securely attached to the winch before lifting. RequirementsRequirements: Previous experience in winch operation or a similar role in the offshore industry. Relevant offshore certifications. Proficiency in operating various types of winches and related machinery. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making skills. Good physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in challenging environments.
