Manufacturing Process Engineer

Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join its team in the Geel area.As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will execute production activities and related analyses in compliance with cGMP and safety standards, ensuring that the production process is stable, safe, and meets predefined requirements. You will support project work, contribute to knowledge building and sharing, and help improve the effectiveness and efficiency of cross-departmental production processes. Not only will you work on diversified and challenging topics, but we will also support your growth and development through a specific follow-up from one of our Business Managers and the possibility to benefit from specific trainings related to your career objectives.ABOUT THE POSITION:Prepare for activities by reviewing instructions, guidelines, and priorities with your supervisor, ensuring a clear understanding of timing, quantity, type, and quality of tasksExecute, measure, analyze, and monitor activities linked to the production processPerform process steps safely and in compliance with cGMP rules to ensure efficient subsequent production steps, meeting output targets and minimizing product lossMaintain accurate and complete written and electronic documentation during operations, ensuring traceability and compliance with proceduresMaintain a clean and organized workspace and properly manage instruments, devices, and materialsEnsure all work is performed according to applicable laws, standards, and regulations, contributing to product quality and a safe, efficient working environmentShare and provide information on ongoing and planned activities, including status updates, progress, issues, and deviationsIdentify and propose improvements based on observed issues and current processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiativesBuild and share knowledge within your work area and with colleagues, supporting knowledge transfer within the organizationABOUT YOU:Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience3–5 years of relevant experienceHands-on operational experience in buffer preparation, filtrations, chromatography steps, and TFF during Phase III clinical campaignsStrong theoretical knowledge and practical experience in your work area, with technical understanding of products, equipment, and methodsAbility to independently perform routine and non-routine production activitiesCapable of troubleshooting problems without direct impact on product, media, or buffersAble to evaluate results and understand trendsExperience training and coaching less experienced colleagues on routine and non-routine devices, equipment, and activitiesABOUT US:Vulcain Engineering is a group specialized in the energy sector that supports companies active in Renewable & Nuclear Energy, Gas & Infrastructure through our Study Offices and Consultancy services.
