We guide our clients from proof of concept to production and are not satisfied until our software solution delivers significant value when used in production.To execute our growing number of projects and accelerate our internal product development, we are looking for a Full Stack Data Scientist. In this role you will be responsible for the development of our internal product on weather and AI and (depending on the agenda) you will be involved in the execution of machine learning projects. You have a key role at PropheSea. As such, we are looking for an individual who meets the following:The ideal candidate's favorite words are learning, data, scale, and agility. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers. ResponsibilitiesBring AI-models into production, including data base modelling, network setup, back-end and front-end developmentCollect and analyze raw data: assess quality and structure for downstream processingSetup AI Agentic frameworksCollaborate with the team to design accurate and scalable prediction algorithmsQualificationsYou have knowledge and experience in the various aspects of running Machine Learning projects (putting projects into production, exploration, model training)You have knowledge of back-end development and can also handle setting up a front-endTechnologies (libraries) that are relevant include: Next.js, FastAPI, PyTorch, Dask, Xarray, Scikit-Learn, OR-Tools, LangChain, LLM, ..Technologies (methodologies) that are relevant include: Transfer Learning, Transformers, Constraint Optimization, Computer Vision, Clustering, ..Soft skills You have a can-do mentality and love making a differenceUnderstanding of physics-based predictive modeling is a plusYou have high ethical standardsYou are able to work independently but are also a true team playerAffinity with the maritime (logistics, civil engineering) and (renewable) energy sectors is considered a great advantageYou have excellent communication skills
