YOUR ROLE

As Procurement Manager Excellence & Operations, you will build and professionalize the engine behind procurement at PWG. You will ensure that processes, systems, data, and compliance are in order, so that your colleague, the Procurement Manager Sourcing & Categories, and the buyers across the entities can achieve maximum results from the supplier market.

While Sourcing & Categories focuses on supplier selection, negotiations, and category strategy, you'll be responsible for the processes, systems, and data that underpin these commercial results.

You'll serve as the link between group strategy and day-to-day operations across the various entities and play a key role in the ERP migration from Axapta to D365, the continued digitization of procurement, and the professionalization of the procurement organization.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You design and implement standard procurement processes (Purchase-to-Pay), curb maverick buying, and develop roadmaps, SOPs, and templates.
• You monitor the procurement policy and governance framework and initiate process optimization and continuous improvement across the various entities.
• You take ownership of compliance and sustainability initiatives, including PPWR, EcoVadis, ISO, the Supplier Code of Conduct, and due diligence.
• You expand procurement analytics and report on spend, savings, and supplier performance. Among other things, you'll manage the savings tracker, Power BI reporting, and the monthly management report, and independently validate realized savings.
• You are the functional owner of the procurement modules within D365 and play a key role in the migration from Axapta. To this end, you will work closely with IT and promote the adoption of digital tools, including SharePoint and Power Automate.
• You oversee the development of buyers and procurement staff and be responsible for planning, coaching, evaluation, and relevant training.
• You support the entities with analyses, tools, and templates and ensure that group-wide processes and standards are also applied locally.
• You are responsible for sourcing and category management for freight/transport: category strategy, supplier selection, freight rates, contract terms, and supplier performance.
• You are the Data Owner for procurement-related master data for items within D365 and, together with Product Management, ensure a clear division of roles and data quality within the Data Owner/Data Steward/Data Custodian model.

WHAT MAKES YOU OUR XPRT?

• You have strong analytical skills, think in terms of processes, and are comfortable working with D365 or other ERP tools, Power BI, and Excel.
• You have at least 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment.
• You know how to motivate and develop others.
• You can persuade and influence others effortlessly, even without direct hierarchical authority, and know how to embed change and standardization across different entities. You know how to motivate and develop others.
• You have an affinity for regulations and sustainability, or are willing to quickly familiarize yourself with these areas.
• An affinity for master data management and data governance is an asset.
• Knowledge of freight/transport sourcing is a plus.
• A Lean/Six Sigma background is a plus, but not a requirement.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English; French and German are an asset.
