My client are seeking a proactive and determined Data Analyst to join their transport operations team in Antwerp. You will play a pivotal role in turning operational data into actionable insights, helping to optimise fleet performance, route planning, passenger flows and sustainability metrics. You will work closely with operations, logistics, and planning stakeholders to influence business decisions and support strategic initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Collect, clean and validate data from various sources (GPS/telemetry from vehicles, ticketing systems, traffic sensors, public transit data, scheduling systems)Develop and maintain dashboards and regular reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as vehicle utilisation, on-time performance, passenger load, fuel/energy consumption, emissions, and cost per tripConduct exploratory and predictive analyses to identify trends, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities (e.g., route optimisation, shift scheduling, fleet deployment)Work with stakeholders to define analytical requirements, translate business questions into data & technical solutionsQualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field2–5 years' experience in a data/analytics role (transport, logistics or mobility sector preferred)Strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI)Good proficiency in Python for data processing and analyticsFamiliarity with ETL/data-pipeline concepts and ideally some exposure to big data or cloud environmentsAbility to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendationsExcellent communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plusStrong organisational skills and comfort working in a fast-moving, cross-functional environmentPackageGross annual salary: up to 82,000 based upon experienceBonus / performance incentive: 10% of base salary13th month payMeal vouchersEco-vouchersMobility budget (bike/car/public transport)Group insurance + hospitalisation coverHybrid/remote work flexibility (e.g., 2–3 days remote per week)Pension plan contributionProfessional development budget & training allowance32 days of annual leave
