Key Responsibilities

  • Define objectives and deliverables for credit-related initiatives and translate business needs into effective, step-by-step product increments.
  • Lead ideation and refinement processes and prioritize features based on business value, technical constraints, regulatory requirements and user feedback.
  • Own, maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog, including features and user stories, and define clear, measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint reviews in collaboration with the Scrum Master and Development Team.
  • Manage expectations and alignment across Business, Risk, Legal, Compliance, IT and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure regulatory and legal requirements are considered from the design phase and maintain appropriate documentation for audit and traceability.
  • Measure the impact of initiatives using relevant KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization.
  • Support user adoption through training, demos, progress communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a change agent within the squad, promoting effective Agile practices and continuous improvement.

Experience Required

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience as an Agile Product Owner or in a similar product ownership role.
  • Proven experience leading a team in collaboration with a Scrum Master and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of credit products and processes.
  • Familiarity with customer journey concepts and the ability to translate business needs into clear requirements for development teams.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions and understand and incorporate technical constraints when making product decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a Product Backlog, define user stories/features and establish acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work across Business, IT, Risk, Legal and Compliance.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a structured, quality-oriented and results-driven approach.
  • Fluent Dutch and French and sound knowledge of English.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience.
