Freelancer OpportunityJob title: Project Coordinator (Belgium) - Global Competence CenterJob location: Brussels, BelgiumJob weekly hours: 40 hrs./weekJob duration: 2026-01-12 to 2026-06-30Role OverviewThe Project Coordinator in Belgium acts as the primary liaison between Proximus IT (Brussels) and Global competence center and Proximus IT teams in Bangalore. This role ensures seamless coordination of activities, timely communication, and alignment across stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:The primary contact in Belgium for Proximus IT, Global Competence center -related activities (e.g., demand collection, feedback management).Managing and updating project materials (e.g., JD's, presentations, documentation).Scheduling and maintaining consistency for monthly Proximus IT Welcome calls.Regular communication with the Proximus IT & Global competence center team (twice weekly) for updates.Supporting ramp-up plans, job descriptions, recruitment, and onboarding.Facilitating collaboration between teams in India and Belgium and hiring managers.Driving engagement with hiring managers to strengthen recruitment and onboarding processes.The coordinator also organizes cross-functional meetings, tracks progress and fosters smooth collaboration between all parties involved.Roles & ResponsibilitiesOrganize and maintain Global competence center project documentation; confidently present updates to larger Proximus IT audiences when required.Schedule and ensure consistency for monthly Proximus IT Welcome calls.Maintain regular touchpoints with the Proximus IT & Global competence center team twice a week.Collaborate on preparing materials for monthly Proximus IT & Global competence center status calls with Chapters.Support ramp-up plans, recruitment, and onboarding processes.Facilitate alignment between HR India and agile coaches for Agile training.Build strong relationships with hiring managers to aid recruitment and onboarding.Coordinate cross-functional meetings to review milestones and mitigate risks along with Proximus IT head.Maintain close contact with Build operate transfer partners and hiring managers to remove recruitment impediments.Prepare summary reports for leadership, track key metrics, and recommend process improvements.Organize team-building activities and workshops to foster collaboration.Work closely with Change Agents to drive adoption of Proximus IT & Data competence center initiatives and overcome resistance.Engage with senior management to report status, resolve impediments, and facilitate team discussions.Role Enhancement OpportunitiesThis position can be expanded to include:Designing and implementing mentorship programs to accelerate team development.Leading diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote an innovative and balanced workplace.Establishing feedback loops with new hires and existing staff to refine HR, recruitment, and onboarding strategies.In the coming months, the focus will shift toward:Preparing for the transfer phase.Collaborating with the Change and Communication Manager to strengthen Belgium India team integration.Working with chapter area leads & chapter area owners on ramp-up plans.Ensuring Global competence center teams feel fully integrated within Proximus IT.All activities will be carried out in close collaboration with the Global competence center Chapter Area Lead, Global competence center IT Head, and Build operate transfer partner.Apply now and start your journey with Team Possible We want to get to know you.After your application, we will verify your profile and get back to you within 3working days.If you're successful, you can expect the following steps:An initial conversation with our recruiter - Swati KumariInterview with the Hiring Manager and the team.Final decisionAbout ProximusWe are Team Possible turning tech into opportunities.We are driven by four core pillars: "I care," "I make a difference," "I radically simplify," and "I embrace the future".
