Leadership role with 5+ direct reports YOUR ROLEFor our Client – Pernod Ricard – a rapidly growing international FMCG company, we are looking for an Accounting Lead/Manager who will oversee all accounting operations across the Benelux entities. In this pivotal role, you will manage a small team and act as the guardian of high-quality financial reporting, compliance, tax and internal controls.You will also play an essential part in harmonising processes, driving transformation initiatives and preparing the organisation for future ERP rollout(s). As the right arm for the CFO, you are part of the senior leadership team and collaborate with both local stakeholders and global finance counterparts.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys impact, autonomy and continuous improvement within an accounting context.Your responsibilities:Oversee general ledger activities, monthly closings, statutory accounts and Group reporting in full compliance with local GAAP and IFRSCoordinate external audits and ensure timely follow-up on recommendations$Monitor and optimise cash flow, liquidity and treasury operationsEnsure accurate cash forecasting and reporting to the GroupManage corporate tax, VAT and other statutory filings while safeguarding regulatory and internal control complianceLead the annual internal control review and track remediation actionsProvide financial insights to internal stakeholders and collaborate closely with FP&A on forecasting and reportingDrive the Benelux accounting transformation roadmap, including ERP implementation, process alignment and change managementSupport entity structure simplification and continuous automation of accounting processesLead, develop and coach the accounting team, providing hands-on support during peak periods or absences THE OFFERWhat's in it for you:Attractive compensation package (including company car/mobility budget and yearly bonus)Hybrid work model with up to three days remote per weekA senior leadership role with significant visibility and impactOpportunity to help build and shape a modern, future-proof accounting structureA dynamic work environment with an entrepreneurial mindset, low hierarchy and a young, energetic teamA culture that values collaboration, growth and continuous improvement YOUYour skills and experience:Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting and/or Finance8+ years of relevant experience in A-Z accountingA people management experience (hierarchical or functional) is necessaryStrong technical knowledge of local GAAP (Belgian and/or Dutch) and IFRSERP experience required; knowledge of JDE, Navision or SAP is a strong assetExperience in an international or multi-entity environment is an advantageStrong self-drive, takes initiative and thrives in a changing environmentEnergetic, hands-on and not afraid to challenge existing processesTeam player with excellent people skills and the ability to develop othersAbility to communicate clearly with both financial and non-financial stakeholdersQUESTIONS?
