Our client is looking for a D365 CE Functional Consultant to join a Microsoft-centred delivery team on a contract basis. This is a business-facing role: you will run requirements workshops directly with the business, shape those requirements into a structured backlog, and translate them into a solution across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Power Pages, and Dataverse. You will work closely with both testing and development teams to keep delivery joined up from requirement through to release.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare workshop plans and run them together with the business.
- Challenge, clarify, and define business requirements.
- Structure requirements into a backlog, working directly with the customer.
- Model requirements into a technical solution built on D365 CE modules, Power Platform, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
- Collaborate with the testing team to ensure an end-to-end understanding of requirements.
- Collaborate with the development team to guarantee good quality in the deliverables.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on experience as a functional consultant or business analyst on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (Sales, Customer Service, and/or Field Service modules).
- Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), Power Pages, and Dataverse.
- A track record of designing and facilitating requirements workshops with business stakeholders.
- Comfortable owning and structuring a product backlog together with a customer, ideally in an agile delivery environment.
- Ability to translate business requirements into a clear, technically sound solution design.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence pushing back on and clarifying requirements rather than simply recording them.
- Experience working alongside testing and development teams through to delivery.
- Fluent French and English + you need to live in Belgium.
Contract Details
- Contract type: Freelance / contract.
- Location: Fully remote.
- Day rate: Depending on experience.
- Duration: 4 days a week for 1 year.
