Nexeo Belgium is a consulting company supporting clients in the banking, finance, insurance, and public sectors throughout their transformation projects.We are currently looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join the Predictive Models Team within the Marketing and Communication department of a leading organization.Mission ContextThe Predictive Models Team provides responsible AI models to enable impactful and efficient campaigns by optimizing reach and relevance for customers and employees.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will tackle various business challenges, build models to support customer journey-driven marketing campaigns, and collaborate closely with a team of motivated data scientists eager to share expertise and learn continuously.Key ResponsibilitiesCapture business needs, determine feasibility, and design predictive models to identify the most relevant target groupsBuild, deploy, and monitor responsible AI models, including using LLMs for text classification and summarizationCreate pipelines to clean and structure web analytics data and detect customer intentApply best practices for AI model explainability, interpretability, and validationTranslate technical insights into actionable business recommendations for Marketing and Communication teamsSupport campaign measurement, testing, and adoption of AI-driven solutionsProfileLanguagesEnglish – FluentDutch – Fluent OR French – FluentEducationMaster's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) or equivalent experienceExperience & Technical SkillsMandatory5+ years of experience in data science and predictive modelingExpert in Python and Python data science libraries (scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow)Expertise in customer journey modeling (e.g., next best action)Strong knowledge of ML algorithms, statistics, and experiment designExpertise in LLMs for text classification, summarization, and responsible AI practicesSQL, git, bashPreferredIncremental learning, uplift modelingMarketing Mix Modeling and optimization under constraintsSAS, StreamlitSoft SkillsTake ownership and drive projects end-to-endTranslate data insights into actionable business decisionsQuick learner, autonomous, analytical, and problem-solving mindsetTeam player with clear and concise communicationProactive and results-orientedThis is a high-impact opportunity to work on AI-driven predictive models within marketing and communication, collaborating with a team of experts and influencing campaign outcomes with advanced analytics.#DataScientist #AI #PredictiveModels #MachineLearning #MarketingAnalytics #ResponsibleAI #Nexeo #HybridWork #CareerOpportunity
