DescriptionThe Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation is the hub of Belgium's international policy. It outlines the broad outlines of Belgian foreign policy and defends our country's positions, both nationally and internationally. The FPS's staff work not only from the main office in Brussels, but also from around 120 missions (embassies and consulates). In this context, the Directorate-General for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is responsible for all IT and telecommunications support required to carry out the missions of the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, particularly aspects of infrastructure, software, and IT security. They describe the processes involved and how they are supported by IT. They ensure that the solutions align with the applicable domain architectures and the organization's enterprise architecture. They actively work across the entire IT domain and possess the technical expertise required to structurally develop solutions.
