Join TransPerfect MediaWe're expanding our network of Belgium-based freelancers for regular collaborations throughout the year.Freelance, paid projects – compensation varies depending on profile and project type.TransPerfect Media (Lylo Media Group) is seeking freelance subtitlers located in Belgium to work on subtitling and SDH projects.Main responsibilities· Working from the source video to create and spot subtitles· Translate and/or adapt the source language with accuracy· Adhere to the technical rules (reading speed, synchronization, CPL, and specific SDH rules)· Deliver a finished .stl file free of errors· Liaise with the PM for delivery, quality checks and feedbackRequirements and experience· Knowledge of subtitling tools· Knowledge and adherence to technical subtitling and SDH norms· Attention to detail and accuracy· Translation experience· Subtitling and SDH experience· Degree in audiovisual translation (preferred)Language pairs· FR / NL → EN· EN / NL → FR· EN / FR → NL· FR → FR (SME)· FR → EN (SDH)
