Key Account Manager – Trauma & Orthopaedics

Location: Belgium

Priority locations: Antwerp and surrounding areas

The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Key Account Manager to join a growing medical device organisation within Belgium.

This is not a traditional account management position. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing existing relationships while also identifying new business opportunities, winning new accounts and contributing to the continued growth of the territory.

The business has experienced significant growth in Belgium, expanding from a single employee to a team of eight, including three Key Account Managers. The successful candidate will join at an exciting stage of growth and play an important role in the continued development of the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key hospital and clinical stakeholders.
  • Drive sales growth across the assigned territory.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities through proactive business development.
  • Maintain and grow existing accounts while developing new customer relationships.
  • Work closely with surgeons, clinicians and hospital purchasing teams.
  • Develop strong knowledge of the company's product portfolio and clinical applications.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed commercial targets.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Belgian commercial organisation.
  • Represent the business professionally within the Trauma and Orthopaedic market.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous commercial experience within Trauma medical devices.
  • Strong experience selling into operating theatres and hospital environments.
  • A proven track record in business development and winning new business, alongside account management.
  • Strong relationships with relevant clinical stakeholders.
  • A commercially ambitious and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a growing team.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A strong cultural and personality fit for a collaborative and ambitious organisation.

Candidates based in Antwerp will be prioritised during the initial search.
