Senior Project Manager – Energy Transition Department (Mechanical Construction – Industrial Boilers) – LiègeIntroductionDo you want to lead complex mechanical construction projects that directly drive the modernization and decarbonization of industrial energy systems?Step into a key role within the Energy Transition Department, taking full ownership of industrial boiler and pressure equipment projects that power sustainable infrastructures across Belgium.Based in Liège, you'll combine strategic oversight with hands-on coordination, from tender to commissioning, in a company that values technical excellence, autonomy, and long-term development.Your ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of mechanical construction projects (industrial boilers, pressure systems, piping) from tender phase to commissioning.Coordinate all technical, contractual, financial, and planning aspects of the projects.Supervise on-site operations, including subcontractors, logistics, welding, and safety compliance.Lead procurement, budgeting, reporting, and cross-functional communication with clients and suppliers.Ensure full adherence to EN and ASME standards, as well as HSE and quality control requirements.Monitor project progress, anticipate risks, and ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.Actively contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence within the Boiler Solutions unit.Your ProfileMaster's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering (or related technical field).Proven experience managing mechanical or industrial boiler projects in heavy industry or energy.Strong understanding of pressure equipment, welding processes (TIG, electrode), and mechanical assembly.Skilled in project management, contractual follow-up, site supervision, and quality assurance.Fluent in French; knowledge of English and/or Dutch is a strong asset.What's in it for youCompetitive salary between €5,000 and €6,500 gross/month depending on experience.10% annual bonus based on gross salary.Company car with charging card.Meal & eco vouchers, group insurance, and health coverage.Smartphone and internet allowance.Additional paid leave (RTT), 13th month, and holiday bonus.Flexible working conditions and strong emphasis on training & career development.A strategic role in accelerating Belgium's energy transition through innovative industrial projects.ConclusionJoin a company where your technical leadership and mechanical expertise will directly shape the future of sustainable energy infrastructures.If you're ready to lead, coordinate, and deliver high-impact industrial boiler projects, this is your next move.
