SII Belgium is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Java Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing software applications, as well as maintaining and improving existing systems. You would join various teams working in AGILE mode for projects in the Defense, Energy, Banking or Telecom sectors.SII is a European digital and engineering services company of 16,000 experts. SII is committed to a sustainable digital world and is recognized as a great workplace.Key Responsibilities:Contribute in the design and outlining of Java solutions (with the analyst and / or architect)Understands the business needs and perform the needed functional analysisEnsure continuous integration and deployment of solutionsDeliver scalable Java web applications according to agreed planning and budgetTest applications and overcome technical issues encounteredAdd value to the sales cycle by giving input to your commercial colleagues (presales)Add constantly to the Java competency within SII BelgiumSupport the project manager during the estimation processTrain customers and usersRequirements:Master's degree in computer science2+ years of relevant experienceFamiliar with Agile methodology such as Scrum; TDDGood knowledge of Java Spring MVCProficient in DockerExperienced in JPA/Hibernate, Maven, GIT, SVN JenkinsExperience with HTML5, CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, ...), Javascript frameworks (JQuery, Angular JS, React JS...) is an added value.Fluent in English, French or Dutch is a plus.We offer:A challenging and varied role in a growing companyOpportunity to work with the latest technologiesCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunity to improve your skills and knowledge through training and certificationWarm and open company culture, supported by an international groupIf you are a passionate and autonomous Java developer looking for an exciting opportunity with a growing company, we encourage you to apply for this position Let's Tech Together
