SAP EWM Consultant2 year contractOverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to support the design, build, and optimisation of warehouse processes within a complex SAP landscape. The ideal candidate brings deep process and configuration expertise, strong integration knowledge, and the ability to collaborate closely with both business and technical teams.You will play a key role in enhancing warehouse efficiency, enabling automation, and ensuring seamless execution of fulfilment processes across multiple sites.Key ResponsibilitiesLead solution design, configuration and implementation of SAP EWM (decentralised or embedded).Engage with business stakeholders to translate warehousing requirements into robust SAP solutions.Support blueprinting, functional specifications, testing and cutover activities.Configure key functional areas including:Inbound & Outbound processesPicking, packing & put-away strategiesSlotting & rearrangementPhysical inventoryRF & barcode scanningMaterial Flow System (MFS) / automation interfacesManage integration with SAP MM, SD, PP and other warehouse technologies.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis and deliver corrective improvements.Deliver key user training, documentation and hypercare support post go-live.Collaborate with ABAP development teams and guide technical enhancements when required.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5+ years of SAP WM/EWM experience.Hands-on expertise in EWM configuration across inbound, outbound and internal warehouse processes.Strong understanding of warehouse logistics, inventory control and best-practice operations.Experience with RF scanning solutions and warehouse automation integration.Ability to create functional specs and perform debugging during build and testing.Proven success across full project life cycles (design → deployment → support).Solid knowledge of integration with MM, SD, PP.Desirable SkillsExperience in S/4HANA Embedded EWM.Knowledge of Material Flow System (MFS) and automated warehouse solutions.Familiarity with transportation/logistics execution processes.Soft SkillsStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider project team.Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability.Proactive, structured and delivery-focused working style.LanguageFluent in English.Professional French or Dutch.What's On OfferMajor influence on warehouse transformation programmes.Work with modern EWM technology in a growing global landscape.Flexible working arrangements depending on client setup.Long-term opportunity with high visibility in operations.
