Job Summary:

The Junior Revenue Coordinator is responsible for maximizing hotel revenue and profitability through the development and implementation of pricing strategies, inventory management, and forecasting techniques. The role involves analyzing market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to optimize room rates and occupancy levels, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

In addition, the Junior Revenue Coordinator takes a forward-looking approach by anticipating market developments and staying ahead of the evolution of revenue management. This includes identifying and adopting new technologies, tools, and methodologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and advanced data analytics, to further enhance forecasting, pricing decisions, automation, and overall revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy Development: Create and implement pricing strategies for rooms, packages, and promotions to optimize revenue and profitability across all distribution channels.

Forecasting & Budgeting: Prepare accurate revenue forecasts and budgets based on historical data, market trends, and business intelligence. Provide regular updates and adjustments as necessary.

Inventory Management: Manage room inventory across all distribution platforms (e.g., OTA, GDS, brand website) to maximize occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).

Market Analysis: Conduct competitive market analysis, monitor competitor pricing strategies, and assess market conditions to adjust rates dynamically.

Reporting & Analysis: Produce detailed revenue reports and analyses for management, including daily pick-up reports, weekly performance reports, and monthly P&L reviews.

Collaboration with Sales, Marketing and the General Managers: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align pricing strategies with marketing campaigns, promotions, and overall hotel objectives.

In this role, you are responsible for maintaining open and effective collaboration with the General Managers (GM's). This involves two-way communication, working together on pricing strategies, and making decisions on when to open or close specific distribution channels. You will act as a liaison between management and operational teams to ensure the company's goals regarding pricing and distribution strategies are met.

Yield Management: Implement yield management strategies to maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), including dynamic pricing models and group business optimization.

Distribution Channel Optimization: Ensure optimal performance of all distribution channels, including direct bookings, OTAs, and third-party websites, by maintaining rate parity and availability.

Customer Behavior Analysis: Analyze booking patterns, guest segmentation, and stay behavior to improve pricing decisions and forecast accuracy.

Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

In the first year, we expect the following:

  • Achieving the ADR (Average Daily Rate) and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) as per budget
