Freelance Business Controller – Brussels (Hybrid) | 12-Month+ ContractLocation: Brussels, BelgiumStart Date: October 2025Contract Length: Minimum 12 months (extension likely)Working Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)Languages: Fluency in one of Dutch, French, or English is requiredAbout the Opportunity:We are working with a well-established manufacturing organisation in Brussels that is looking to hire an experienced Business Controller on a long-term contract basis. This role offers the chance to join a dynamic team and make a measurable impact from day one. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and brings strong experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Microsoft Dynamics.Key Responsibilities:Analyse and report financial and operational data to support strategic decision-makingMonitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance using SAP and Microsoft DynamicsDevelop and maintain financial models and dashboards for internal reportingWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and completenessIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performanceSupport month-end and year-end closing processesContinuously improve controlling processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and transparencyKey Skills & Experience:5-7 years of experience as a Business Controller or in a similar financial controlling roleStrong practical experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP and Microsoft DynamicsAdvanced Excel skills, including complex functions and data analysisExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailResults-driven, independent, and proactive mindsetFluency in at least one of the following languages: Dutch, French, or English (mandatory)Comfortable working with IT systems and adapting to new tools quicklyCollaborative approach, with strong communication skills for working with stakeholders across departments
