As part of an international group, we support our clients in complex, strategic, and operational challenges across industries.The AssignmentFor one of our industrial clients, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Consultant – SAP Controlling to support the design and setup of a manufacturing controlling model in SAP.You will work closely with senior finance stakeholders in an international environment and play a key role in translating business and manufacturing needs into a robust SAP Controlling (CO) framework. This is a business-driven role, not an IT or technical SAP configuration position.Your Role & ResponsibilitiesSAP Controlling – Business DesignDesign and structure the SAP Controlling (CO) model for a manufacturing environmentTranslate operational and manufacturing processes into financial and controlling structuresDefine cost flows from production to inventory and financial reportingAct as a bridge between Finance, Operations, and SAP/IT teamsManufacturing & Cost ControllingSet up and define:Production cost structuresProduction orders and order closing logicInventory capitalizationOverhead allocation and cost absorptionSupport the setup of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and product costingPrepare the controlling model for:Single-product start-up evolving into a multi-product environmentMulti-entity and tolling manufacturing structuresFuture plant expansionFinancial Reporting & AnalysisSupport manufacturing financial reporting and closing processesDefine and analyze variances (plan vs. actual, cost drivers, efficiency)Ensure alignment between operational data and financial resultsBusiness PartneringAdvise senior finance stakeholders on controlling design and best practicesChallenge and translate business requirements into scalable controlling solutionsOperate autonomously in a fast-evolving, transformation contextYour ProfileExperience & BackgroundSenior-level experience in business controlling within a manufacturing and/or industrial environmentStrong hands-on experience with SAP Controlling (FI/CO) from a business perspectiveProven experience designing or reshaping controlling models (not only operating them)Solid understanding of production processes, cost allocation, and financial flowsKey SkillsStrong business acumen and analytical mindsetAbility to structure complex environments and translate them into clear modelsPragmatic, autonomous, and stakeholder-orientedComfortable working in international and cross-functional teamsLanguagesEnglish: MandatoryAny additional national language (Dutch, French, Polish, Italian) is a strong plusSeniorityExperienced profile required – junior profiles will not be suitableWhy Join Kronos by EPSA?Work on high-impact finance transformation projectsOperate in senior, business-critical roles with strong autonomyBe part of an international consulting group with a strong reputation in performance management Interested?
