Test AnalystDepartment: Intelligence & InnovationFor our client, the Intelligence & Innovation Department is seeking an experienced Test Analyst to help build reliable digital solutions that support modern, data-driven policing.You will work closely with internal development teams on mission-critical applications used daily by police officers and analysts. Your work will directly contribute to public safety, operational efficiency, and innovation.Your responsibilitiesAs a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and usability of software applications by:Translating business and functional requirements into structured test cases and scenariosDesigning, executing, and maintaining manual and automated testsDetecting, documenting, and following up on defects to ensure high-quality releasesCollaborating closely with developers, functional analysts, and end-usersSupporting application rollouts, including preparing documentation and delivering user trainingContinuously improving testing strategies, tools, and processesExperience & qualificationsMust-haveMinimum 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst / Test SpecialistExperience testing business-critical applicationsSolid knowledge of formal testing methodologies and techniquesHands-on experience with test automationPractical experience with the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)Experience delivering training or knowledge transfer to end-usersNative or near-native Dutch (CEFR C2)Nice-to-haveExperience with Cypress, Ranorex, and XrayAbility to work with SQL, JSON, and basic understanding of C#Experience working in agile / DevOps environmentsYour profileStrong attention to detail and quality-driven mindsetAnalytical, structured, and methodicalClear communicator and collaborative team playerProactive, autonomous, and solution-orientedMotivated to work on high-impact public sector solutionsWhy join?Work on meaningful applications with real societal impactBe part of an innovative and forward-thinking departmentCollaborate with skilled technical and business professionalsContribute directly to the digital transformation of policing
