Our client within a European public-sector institution is seeking a Junior AI Governance & Compliance Specialist to support the practical implementation of AI Act requirements across AI systems.
This is an AI governance and compliance role with a strong technical component. They will contribute to assessments of AI systems by examining technical characteristics, risks, limitations, performance considerations, bias and fairness testing approaches, transparency mechanisms, and other relevant governance controls.
The role combines AI governance, regulatory compliance, stakeholder engagement, and technical analysis. It is not a software development position, but candidates must possess sufficient technical understanding of AI systems to confidently assess them from both a governance and compliance perspective.
What you will do:
- Support AI Act compliance activities by applying established governance procedures, guidelines, and assessment methodologies.
- Review and assess AI systems from a governance and compliance perspective, considering their capabilities, limitations, risks, and intended use.

- Support the classification and evaluation of AI systems in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Maintain compliance records, governance documentation, assessment reports, and supporting evidence.
