Job Description:

Objective:

The Business Analyst supports the contracting authority in translating business needs into clear, structured requirements and fit-for-purpose solutions. They ensure alignment between stakeholder expectations, operational objectives and implementation constraints, thereby enabling informed decision-making and efficient delivery.

Design a solution assessing the business context and validating requirements. It includes analysing current and target processes, identifying optimisation opportunities, and translating needs into coherent solution options. It results in clear business, functional and non-functional specifications that support implementation and stakeholder alignment.

Scope:

  • Elicit, analyse and document business needs, functional requirements and business rules.
  • Support stakeholder consultation, requirements prioritisation and validation of proposed solutions.
  • Assess business processes, identify gaps and contribute to feasibility, impact and risk analysis.
  • Produce clear business analysis artefacts to support decision-making, delivery planning and acceptance.

Out of scope:

  • Direct project management, budget ownership or contractual decision-making.
  • Technical architecture, software development, system administration or infrastructure operations.
  • Formal approval of business requirements, procurement documents or implementation decisions on behalf of the contracting authority.
  • Operational ownership of delivered services, including change execution or production support.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

Following tasks will be performed by external service provider:

Design a solution:

  • Evaluate business context, drivers and expected outcomes.
  • Elicit, validate and document business requirements.
  • Analyse and model business processes and workflows.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and optimisation opportunities.
  • Produce business and functional specifications.

Follow the implementation of a solution:

  • Support backlog preparation and requirements traceability.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordination activities

Assist the project manager:

  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Contribute to reporting, KPI monitoring and data analysis activities.
  • Prepare documentation, meeting minutes and reporting materials

Education requirement:

  • At least 3 years of higher education studies, attested by a diploma.

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 9 years of post-secondary professional experience.
  • Must meet the required minimum professional experience in the Business Analyst profile.

Minimum certification requirement:

The candidate must hold at least one of the following certifications, or an equivalent certification:

  • CCBA – Certification of Competency in Business Analysis
  • CBAP – Certified Business Analysis Professional
  • IIBA-AAC – Agile Analysis Certification
  • PMI-PBA – Professional in Business Analysis
  • CAP – Certified Analytics Professional
  • CBATL – Certified Business Analysis Thought Leader
  • CBPP – Certified Business Process Professional
  • CFLBA – Certified Foundation Level Business Analyst
  • IREB CPRE – IREB Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering
  • Any certification considered equivalent to one of the above-mentioned certifications.

  • UAT plans and reports
  • Gap analysis reports
  • KPI and reporting dashboards specifications
  • Stakeholder workshop summaries
