Introduction

As the Security Engineer, you are the voice of security within the container operations team, where you are responsible for securing the container platform and for ensuring that developers deliver secure applications.

Your experience in both security and containerization, combined with diplomatic assertiveness, allows you to put your stamp on security within a large container environment with high visibility both inside and outside the organization. You can, of course, rely on the internal security team and follow the necessary training to further develop your skills.

Who are you? Who are we looking for?

  • You have professional experience in IT security and containerization.
  • You have experience with technologies such as Red Hat OpenShift and cloud-native application protection platforms (CNAPP).
  • You have experience with threat modelling according to STRIDE.
  • You are diplomatically assertive: you are our representative for security in a multidisciplinary team made up of various experts, taking a leading role in containerization.
  • You enjoy working autonomously, but are also a team player who works purposefully with others to achieve good results.
  • You provide coaching and advice on security best practices, with a strong focus on security within the container landscape.

Where will you end up?

Our IT department consists of around 460 enthusiastic IT professionals working in a challenging IT landscape that is constantly evolving. In our I&T Security team, we work with the latest technologies on challenging projects.

Optimization and innovation are central, and continuous learning is embraced wholeheartedly.

Working from home is the norm, and once a week we come into the office in Brussels (5-minute walk from Gare du Nord).

For this role we are looking for 100% availability, but 80% is negotiable.
