(homeworking is possible)Start date: asapDuration: 6 months – possibility to extendLocation: Evere (Brussels)Workplace: Onsite (with homeworking possible depending on autonomy and experience, will be discussed during interview)Languages: English (C1), French Native and Dutch conversational (B2)Daily Rates: €650About the RoleAs an Oracle Developer, you translate functional business requirements into stable, secure, and user-friendly applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and the underlying Oracle Database (ORDBMS) environment.You combine strong technical expertise with a pragmatic mindset. Depending on the context, you will work on existing legacy Oracle Forms applications or develop new, modern APEX solutions. Performance, reusability, security, and adherence to Oracle best practices are always at the core of your work.Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development & Data Management - Design and develop data entry screens and manage Oracle databases.Build, maintain, and enhance custom applications using Oracle Forms, Oracle APEX, and PL/SQL.Work with Oracle ORDBMS architecture principles to ensure efficient, scalable, and secure data models.Manage internal application data (UA data) and support data documentation and data transfer processes.Modernization & Integration - Contribute to the modernization of legacy Oracle Forms applications by migrating them to Oracle APEX.Collaborate on UI/UX improvements to deliver intuitive and user-friendly applications.Apply and promote security best practices across applications and databases.Participate in architectural discussions, data flow design, and system integrations within the broader Roularta ecosystem.Quality, Testing & Documentation - Ensure application reliability through thorough testing and quality control.Produce clear technical documentation and ensure proper knowledge transfer.Apply development standards consistently to support the stability and continuity of business processes.Your ProfileTechnical Skills & Experience - minimum 3 years of experience in IT with solid technical foundations.Proven experience with Oracle Forms and/or Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and data modeling.Strong knowledge of the Oracle ecosystem (ORDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, APEX).Familiarity with modern development practices and structured development methodologies.Way of Working - Comfortable working in a fast-moving, digitalizing environment.Able to analyze functional needs and translate them into technical solutions.Knowledge of standards for technical analysis, software development, and code documentation.Autonomous, structured, and quality-oriented, with good communication skills in a multilingual environment.
