Environmental Engineer-NL-FR

For our client, a leading company in oil& gas industry, we are looking for an Environmental Engineer-NL-FR. You will have the opportunity to play a key role in the environmental management of a large operational network and support strategic sustainability initiatives. The position is based in Auderghem, covering responsibilities across the Benelux region.As an Environmental Engineer-NL-FR, your responsibilities will include:Ensuring full management of environmental permits and documentation.Monitoring changes in legal requirements and adapting internal processes accordingly.Investigating environmental incidents and coordinating corrective actions.Acting as a key contact for local authorities and external partners.Presenting the company in EU bodies about environmental issues.Managing all stages of soil assessments and remediation activities, from proposal to project handover, ensuring top-quality execution.Providing detailed and regular updates to internal and external stakeholders.Building and maintaining effective collaborations with technical experts and internal and external contacts.Supporting diverse initiatives by leveraging your knowledge to improve site safety and regulatory adherence.About You :Engineering degree with strong knowledge of environmental regulations.Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in soil management, compliance, or sustainability.Strong language skills in French, Dutch, and English.Excellent analytical skills, methodological rigor, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including external partners.Open to change and committed to continuously improving practices.What our client offers:Competitive compensation package with performance-related bonuses and additional benefits.A supportive and rewarding work environment that encourages collaboration and well-being.An influential role at the heart of environmental challenges within an international group.Genuine opportunities for learning and career growth.If you enjoy combining expertise, innovation, and tangible impact on the environment, this role is the perfect opportunity for you.
