Senior .NET Backend Developer | Brussels | Hybrid
We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Backend Developer to join a core business applications development team in Brussels.
Location: Brussels – Avenue de l'Astronomie
Work model: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite required
Duration: 01/10/2026 – 31/12/2026
Contract: Full-time | 3 months
Language: French – Native/C2
English & Dutch: Passive knowledge/B1 or B2
Required Technical Experience
- .NET / C# – Expert: 10 years
- .NET Core – Expert: 5 years
- Entity Framework Core – Expert: 10 years
- Azure DevOps – Expert: 10 years
- JSON – Expert: 10 years
- RESTful APIs – Expert: 10 years
- SOLID principles – Expert: 10 years
- Agile / Scrum – Expert: 10 years
- ASP.NET – Confirmed: 5 years
- ASP.NET MVC – Confirmed: 5 years
- Git – Expert: 10 years
- Visual Studio – Expert: 10 years
- XML – Expert: 10 years
- UML – Nice to have
- SOAP API / WCF – Nice to have
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications using .NET Framework and .NET 8+
- Design and develop REST APIs / Web APIs
- Work with SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Develop using Entity Framework Core
- Analyse functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns and clean coding practices
- Write and execute unit tests
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance
- Troubleshoot technical incidents and optimize application performance
- Participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum activities
- Work closely with analysts, architects and development teams
Ideal Candidate
We are particularly interested in candidates who have strong hands-on experience with modern .NET, EF Core, REST APIs, Azure DevOps and SQL Server, while also being comfortable working with existing ASP.NET/MVC/.NET Framework applications.
French is mandatory, and candidates must be able to work 3 days per week onsite in Brussels.
