The business is deeply embedded within complex construction environments, partnering with global technology clients and specialist supply chains to deliver highly technical infrastructure to exacting standards. The organisation is known for its strength in systems integration, commissioning-led delivery, and technical assurance, operating at the sharp end of data centre construction.About the RoleThis role sits within a major hyperscale data centre development in Belgium, forming part of a wider European campus programme. The project involves complex Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Management Systems (PMS) that are critical to the safe, resilient, and efficient operation of the facility. The BMS/PMS scope is a key technical package within the overall programme and requires strong coordination across MEP, commissioning, QA, and EHS teams.ResponsibilitiesLead the BMS/PMS construction package, ensuring timely installation, integration, and commissioningSupport the overall project programme by coordinating BMS/PMS activities within the wider construction scheduleAct as a visible safety leader on site, ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and participating in auditsCoordinate with MEP teams, automation specialists, commissioning engineers, and specialist subcontractorsOversee procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of all BMS and PMS componentsEnsure compliance with design specifications, client standards, and operational requirementsWork closely with QA, Commissioning, and EHS teams to maintain high standards of executionManage and track costs associated with the BMS/PMS package, including labour, materials, subcontractors, and variationsMonitor on-site progress and resolve issues related to quality, safety, or design deviationsLead subcontractor and vendor meetings, driving progress and technical issue resolutionDrive the handover process, ensuring all documentation, testing records, and commissioning reports are completed for final acceptanceQualificationsProven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager delivering BMS and/or PMS systemsBackground in data centres, mission-critical, industrial, or high-tech construction environmentsStrong technical understanding of BMS, PMS, and critical systems integrationExperience managing specialist subcontractors and technology vendorsWorking knowledge of the full delivery lifecycle, from procurement through commissioning and handoverStrong understanding of construction scheduling, cost tracking, and quality managementDegree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related disciplineEffective communicator, able to operate within complex, multi-stakeholder project environmentsAbility to work on-site in BelgiumRequired SkillsExperience delivering critical systems on complex construction projects.Preferred SkillsExperience in hyperscale data centre programmes.If you are a BMS / PMS Project Manager with experience delivering critical systems on complex construction projects and are looking to work on a flagship hyperscale data centre programme, we'd like to hear from you.
